When working with residences that carry architectural soul—like this beautiful Sydney property with its rendered brickwork, terracottas, and classic black shutters—the goal is never to over-complicate. It’s about adding pieces that look like they were always meant to be there, while quietly doing the heavy lifting against the element



Enter our latest installation: a bespoke Elliptical Canopy Awning, tailored to anchor the home's entryway.

The Form: Sculptural Elegance


An entry portal should make a statement before you even cross the threshold. The rounded, structural curve of the Elliptical Canopy offers an architectural counterpoint to the clean, horizontal lines of the timber gate and rendered fencing. It frames the leadlight door below, creating a sense of arrival that feels grounded, intentional, and undeniably elevated.


The Materiality: Luxaflex® Zeroscreen in Nocturnal


While the silhouette draws the eye, the real magic lies in the fabric selection.

For this project, we wrapped the canopy in Zeroscreen in the shade Nocturnal—a deeply rich, matte charcoal hue that mirrors the home's upper shutters and stained timber door.

Introduced by Luxaflex®, Zeroscreen is a masterclass in modern textile engineering:
