1. MOTORISATION

Technology is also playing a role in window treatment trends for 2023. Motorised Window Furnishings are becoming increasingly popular due to their convenience and ability to be controlled remotely using remotes, smartphones and tablets as well as smart home devices.

Luxaflex Window Fashions has a wide range of internal and external products that can be controlled from a central hub, offering a low cost home automation solution for window coverings that allows smartphones and tablets to operate, set scenes & schedules and even operate remotely when you are away from home.

2. ECO FRIENDLY OPTIONS

As sustainable practices continue to become mainstream, we expect to see a larger presence of sustainable and innovative products in our homes. The Luxaflex Duette Shades create insulation that can help lower your energy consumption and energy bills.

The Equascreen Fabric (featured above) is made from 50% ocean-bound plastic, and a 50% polyester blend. Bionic® collects ocean-bound plastic from various locations and beaches. Once the plastic is collected, it is transported to a facility where it is converted into small plastic pellets. These pellets are turned into the base of the yarn and combined with polyester yarn filaments to create the base of the Equascreen range.

3. THE ALTERNATIVES TO SHUTTERS

Pirouette shadings feature softly contoured, front-facing fabric vanes attached to a single sheer backing. During opening and closing, the vanes move in tandem for a fluid, graceful effect. Three-dimensional fabric vanes provide a striking and uniform interior look whilst softly filtering sunlight and providing privacy.

Silhouette Shades have unique S-shaped vanes that float between two sheer panels to beautifully diffuse the light into your room and, when the vanes are tilted, lets you block the outside world's view into your home. The unique design bounces incoming light up onto the ceiling and naturally brightens the room
